ATTA Gallery was founded in 2010 to serve as a platform for local as well as international jewelry artists and designers to showcase their work to the general public. ATTA Gallery is directed by Atinuj (Atty) Tantivit, a Thai contemporary art jewelry collector and advocate.
The name of the Gallery, ATTA, means "SELF" in Pali--an ancient Indian language that is also widely used in the Thai language. ATTA Gallery works to emphasize the meaning of the Gallery’s name by promoting self-expression of artists as well as wearers alike.
ATTA Gallery exhibits pieces of wearable art made by jewelry artists/designers—both established and new talents, local and international. It is ATTA Gallery’s mission to be the pioneer in introducing unique work of wearable art from around the world to Thailand and from Thailand to the world, and at the same time, in bringing the awareness and appreciation of contemporary art jewelry to the Thai general public.
ATTA Gallery exhibits and sells work of wearable art from solo and/or group exhibitions and gallery’s Permanent Collection. Each piece of contemporary art jewelry is comparable to a piece of contemporary art and should not be sold as if it’s just another kind of accessory commodity in a regular retail setting.
