Perceived Value by Tithi Kutchamuch

"I like to think of my jewellery as a physical representation of my thoughts and my life experiences, at a period of time, in three dimensional forms.

My exhibition Perceived Value is an investigation into a topic that intrigues me:  Capitalism.

With projects like Reincarnation, I hope to challenge your perception of value.  Reincarnation is a collection of rubbish which has been cast in sterling silver.  A modern day breakfast silver set.

With later projects like Pearly White and Sea Life 2.0, I have played with society's notion of imperfection or purposely created new pieces by altering the shape of discarded objects; adding uniqueness and artistic value into each object.

My curiousity in humanity and sociality is an ongoing investigation."
