Shito shito is an onomatopoeia that is used in Japanese language to describe the quiet sound of a drizzling rainfall.
When I look at shito shito rainfall, I feel like I am in a state of emptiness…as if all troubles in my heart and my mind get thoroughly cleansed by it.
At the end of each fallen rain drop, water splashes lightly. And when a flower blooms, it is properly nourished by the rain.
Droplets of water, formed in a cloud high up in the sky, fell from the sky as rainfalls and made the flowers bloom on the ground.
I wanted to capture the beauty of these fleeting moments in this series of work.
